De hulpdiensten zijn met meerdere eenheden ter plaatse.<br>Rond kwart voor negen \u2019s avonds kreeg de brandweer een melding van een mogelijke brand in het slooppand. Bij aankomst bleek er daadwerkelijk brand te zijn. Vanuit ramen op de bovenste verdieping kwam rook naar buiten.<br>De brandweer schaalde na onderzoek in het voormalige kantoorpand al snel op. Eerst werd extra materieel gealarmeerd, waarna ongeveer twintig minuten later werd opgeschaald naar middelbrand. Niet veel later werd de brand verder opgeschaald naar grote brand.<br>Door de opschaling kwamen meerdere blusvoertuigen en extra brandweerlieden ter plaatse om de brand te bestrijden.
